KidsX Pathways aims to support international innovation within the US Pediatric Market and built specifically for international startups seeking to enter the US market. This program provides comprehensive curriculum, resources, and key connections within the pediatric healthcare system, including guidance on regulatory requirements, commercialization, and working with hospitals.
Mission
KidsX, a global leader in pediatric digital health innovation, facilitates collaboration between leading children’s hospitals, providers, payors, investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate partners to solve the most pressing problems in pediatric care delivery. By bringing together this robust network of various players in the industry, and delivering multiple accelerators and various innovation programs, KidsX supports early-stage digital health companies achieve product and business model validation in the pediatric market. KidsX is anchored by a consortium of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals.
Program
Selected international startups will leave the program with a strong understanding of the US Pediatric Healthcare Market and how to penetrate it, receive personalized feedback regarding their business model, product, and go to market strategy in the US from US pediatric hospital leadership. Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in networking with each other, the KidsX network, and international marketing partners. The 4-day virtual program will offer asynchronous content and live virtual programming and feature expert lectures and panels from pediatric providers, founders, US venture capital investors, payor experts, and hospital technology leaders

Our mentors and experts come from a wide range of pediatric healthcare sectors, including hospital administrators, clinicians, innovation leaders, investors, and regulatory experts. They will provide targeted advice to help you refine your strategy and connect with key stakeholders.
We will provide opportunities for you to engage with pediatric hospitals leadership. However, we do not facilitate official pilot opportunities in this program.
After completing the program, you will become part of the KidsX alumni network, which provides ongoing support, networking, and access to new partnership opportunities. You will also be able to apply to the KidsX flagship accelerator.
Is my startup eligible to apply?
The program is open to international healthcare startups that aim to improve pediatric care in the US market. Even if you’re still in the Research and Development phase, you can apply if you are interested in learning more about the US market as you continue your R&D process.
How much does it cost to participate?
The program fee is $2000 for early applicants before October 4th and $2500 for later applicants. Refunds or credits will not be provided.
What are the requirements to participate and key dates to keep in mind?
The program will take place virtually via Zoom on December 3rd-6th, 2024 from 8 AM – 1 PM PST. We require attendance for all sessions by at least one team member unless programming falls between the hours of 1 am and 4 am in your respective time zone. Recordings will be made available in that instance.
What is the application process?
Applications are submitted through our online platform and will be available from September 23 to November 7. You will be required to fill out an application form, detailing your product, business model, and goals for entering the U.S. pediatric market. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and early applications are encouraged to secure a spot.
What are the criteria for acceptance?
We assess applications based on the following factors:
- Potential impact on pediatric care.
- Fit with the needs of U.S. pediatric hospitals and patients.
- Team experience and ability to execute on market expansion.
